Sift your own flour at home in just minutes with this stainless steel tamis/sifter! Sifting through the 30 mesh tamis will produce a very high-extraction flour. The exact extraction depends on what type of flour you're sifting. We find you generally produce flours in the 90-95% extraction range with this particular mesh, perfect for removing larger pieces of bran without losing too much flavor and nutritional value.
Finer flour can be obtained by sifting through 40 or 50 mesh sifters (sold separately).
Use: simply shake the sifter back and forth over a large metal bowl.
